    I was really hoping we would have sent him off in one of the trade packages we dealt. We have an abundance of OF depth and only so many spots to roster, and with Martin's limited number of options, he should have been on the front page of the trade deadline advertisement list.

    Saying that Minnesota doesn't really care about baseball is super far from the truth. Having a rich history of town baseball and being one of the only states to do it proves that we have a love for baseball. We may have more of a problem having Twins fans than baseball fans per se, and it will probably have to come to an ownership change for that to change.
