  1. It's definitely his defense that's letting him down. I do think he's done phenomenally learning the outfield in real time - if they decide that's the best position going forward, hopefully being able to work on it during the offseason will help reduce the misreads. That and bad bounces have really been the only negatives I can pin on him out there.
  2. You're right, they're just... limiting his innings. Totally different! And how do you skip days? By having other starters available. Does not negate my point.
  3. Definitely think Zebby's foot issue is part of it - but also want to add that since Ryan is both on the IL and in his annual Post All-Star Slump, and Prielipp is going to be hitting his inning limit soon, if he doesn't go on the IL Zeb's probably going to be around until the end of the season. If they can continue to provide him run support like they did today it's not quite as terrifying of a prospect, but considering how mercurial our bats are it's certainly going to be a risky bet... And your referring to the Royals with KC, right? I'm getting so confused with both KC being Kansas City and Kaelen Culpepper now 😵‍💫😅
  4. As TD's Grand Poobah of the Church of Kreidler, just chiming in to say that I find it rather funny that a post partly about sending Kreidler down has morphed into Discussion #172 about The Jackson Problem, and the only commentary on Kreidler in the thread being "eh, having him here isn't hurting anyone."
  5. Thank you for sharing this! Especially after how much time was spent in today's game chat talking about how we need to get rid of Jackson. The stats tell a different story!
  6. I can't believe Kreidler didn't even get named in the article - just "the Twins shortstop..." If you're going to disrespect Our Savior, at least use his full name!
  7. Oof, Larnach did not look happy there... Really wish I was better at reading lips...
  8. I'm too in love with the sound of my own voice... 😉
  9. And there's zero chance that an increase in playing time had anything to do with it, of course.
  10. Cool that Rojas got to be the starter for the Saints in Iowa - and from that clip they showed, that was a phenomenal catch off the batter!
  11. I'm sorry, but they already proved that wasn't true... They did great with Caratini and Jackson while Jeffers was on the IL
  12. But, I think it poses a good question: do you want Garver, or do you want Jackson?
  13. Maybe, but we're at least going to make it a little harder for them!
  14. Agreed, and I don't think he's been an absolute pit at first. He made some pretty solid plays there.
  15. But isn't the problem that no one's letting go of catchers? That's why so many teams were sniffing after Jeffers.
  16. I think it's gotta be Roden - outfield for outfield makes the most sense. And if Buck immediately gets put back on the IL it'll be able to bypass the recent send down.
  17. Sounds like Shelton is keeping him off the schedule since he's still pretty recently returned from the IL
