  1. Willingham will never have more value then he has now. TRADE HIM! I understand that we could possibly contend this year, but that would require everyone to stay healthy, and our Starting Pitching to do a 180. Not sure I see that happening this year. Trade Willingham and Morneau, and build for the future! I'd rather be good for years then maybe 1 year.
  2. I like what the Twins have now, and what's also coming very soon. Possible Starting Pitchers for 2013: 1. Scott Diamond - thinking he's a lock 2. Kyle Gibson - probably not till end of may or june 3. PJ Walters 4. Cole Devries 5. Sam Deduno 6. Liam Hendricks 7. Free Agent/s Please let Nick Blackburn go!!!
  3. I'm a huge Alex Wimmers fan, but he keeps getting hurt!
  4. Trade Liriano! The Twins are rebuilding for the next year or 2, so why pay an average pitcher 12.5 Million for a .500 ball club or less. I realize the upside to Liriano, hence his last 3 starts, but look at his first 6-8 starts this year. My vote is to trade, and try to get a pitching or middle infield prospect. He will not sign with the Twins at years end.
  5. I've been saying this for 2 years now, and now is the right time to make the shift. Mauer is a natural athlete, and if he can play catcher and first, third base will be a piece of cake!
  6. Sano at 3rd, Dozier/Michael at SS, Rosario at 2nd, Parmalee at DH/1b, Mauer at C, Morneau at 1b/DH, Benson at RF, Hicks at CF, and Arcia/Morales at LF SP's - Wimmers, Gibson, Hendriks, Diamond, 5th Starter RP's - Guerra, Robertson, Waldrop, Swarzak, Perkins, Duensing, and Capps A look at 2014 or 2015 with all Farm and current Twins Players. Some nice pieces coming up, but i'm sure there will also be a couple of FA's as well pieced somewhere in here.
  7. I don't care how Capps does it, as long as he finishes his job. he'll blow a few, but his track record shows more then a few, hope 2012 will be different. -Go Twins!
  8. Go Twins! It's only a matter of time till our starter's start to catch up to the MLB Pitching. I think beating Weaver is a good sign! Gardy also needs to pick a lineup and STICK with it for more then 1 or 2 games. Keep it going boys!
  9. Hendriks will take his spot, and Swarzak i'd imagine would fill Marquis till he is back with the team.
  10. Cruising thru different websites, it appears there are a lot of speculation that he'll be needing Tommy John Surgery. The fact that they are holding a press conference would leave me to believe it would be something like this. Something major.
  11. Interesting.............I don't recall us ever holding a press conference before like this? Can't be good!
  12. James, the above info i posted is from ESPN Top 50 list just posted yesterday.
  13. Let's be real, this is not a great Defensive team no matter whose playing it seems. So my starting lineup would be: Span-RF Plouffe-SS Mauer-C Willingham-LF Morneau-DH Parmalee-1b Valencia-3b Hughes-2b Revere-CF So over Casilla, and I like Carroll, so float him around SS and 2b. Doumit is our 4th OF, and backup C. Burroughs can float between 3b and 1b
