  1. Perhaps so.. San Diego was said to prefer ML players, not prospects. Mouncastle, Kremer but not clear. The other person mentioned is Framber Valdez.
  2. Similar scale… though in last day or so, I am hearing Flaherty is back on the radar. But Castillo , Cease, Flaherty or Lopez are in mix.
  3. Yes, they would hammer me on the Orioles site lol. And I agree with you, that your needs and ours may not be the best match. But I think they will make a trade
  4. Thanks.. agreed that matchups with teams and timing of organizational development determines trade suitability. Os are in a 3-4 year window of maximizing a championship appearance and have a new deep pocket owner. Kjerstad can be a tradeable piece but much of it will depend on the need. Our need is primarily a 1-2 starter and we have some excess both position wise AND prospect wise which is a good (and unusual for us, thanks to Mike Elias) place.
  5. I agree.. the proposals floated with Padres center on, Kremer, Urias and a lesser prospect for Cease rental.
  6. Thanks… i tend to agree that i don’t see both Basallo and Mayo in a deal. It may end up being us getting a deal for Castillo or a Cease rental. Or neither is more likely . Kyle Bradish is likely a July return and hopeful that Grayson Rodriguez stays healthy and has that breakout season.
  7. Biggest need is controllable SP, preferably with top of rotation potential .. i like SWR 23 season, has lots of potential.. I might need another prospect coming back but doable. Mountcastle is one of several good players who at the same time are being pushed by excellent prospects.. Cedric Mullins, Ramon Urias could easily be dealt or kept.
  8. Thanks!!! Camden undergoing a makeover too and is a great place to see a game!! I am a longtime Os fan and remember being at the first division playoff game ever in 1969 with the great Twins of Killebrew, Oliva, Carew Speculation for now seems to be either say Castillo from Mariners or a year rental of Cease. Mountcastle has been mentioned a lot as Mayo may be about ready to split 1b with O’Hearn. Kremer too has control and is a back end reliability innings guy (Morton signing widely seen as a prep for maybe dealing Kremer) Elias and Mejdal are very prospect hoarding though traded Joey Ortiz and DL Hall last winter for a year of Burnes. Doubt they will deal Mayo or Basallo but who knows
  9. Thanks.. so if keeping him, then most any trade won’t be appealing. So if retooling then a package of Jordan Westburg , number 2 prospect Coby Mayo, a number 4 like CF Enrique Bradfield would be more likely to do the trick? Because that is a haul no Os fan would give up lol.. if that doesn’t do it, then you are not really trading him to anyone lol
  10. Hey.. Os fan here.. interested in thoughts about what a fair trade for Pablo Lopez might look like Our off limits prospects would be Samuel Basallo, Jackson Holliday On Os Hangout forum there is an entire thread about this but would something like Ryan Mountcastle, Dean Kremer, and a Comp A pick?
