  1. Denard...maybe give some hitting advice to these Twinkies prior to the next game
  2. Well...maybe even bring back Julian ..he is doing well in St Paul...
  3. I could never figure out why Lopez was classified as the ace. RYAN is his equal if not better.
  4. RYAN IS NOT PITCHING POORLY...NICE TO SEE THE HITTERS HELP HIM.
  5. I am trying to predict the next time Vasquez will get a hit. He will be below 100 soon.
  6. The nightmare would be seeing Lewis limping to 1st base for the 3rd time this season. Hope not...
  7. ADAMS call-up....agree with other postings. He currently has a 3.54 ERA...61 innings. ..56 strikeouts (only Morris has pitched more innings and has a higher strikeout total). The only Twins' pitcher with a lower ERA is Ryan. I don't believe that he even had the opportunity to pitch during his brief prior time with the Twins. Place Ober on a 15-day IL which would include the All-star break.
  8. I watched Lewis in Saturday's Saints game....he has been DH mostly...not sure he is ready to return. So far...0-2..0-3....and 0-3 with the Saints during his most recent rehab. They had better be careful with him.
  9. Take a look at the hitting team hitting stats. You will notice that Larnach is near the top in all of the categories. I am also pleased with Lee's recent production. Disappointing...Vasquez...decent at defense but his .172 BA is the simply horrible. Does he ever take hitting practice?
  10. Look up how Mahle and Pagan are doing this year. When pitchers leave the Twins over the last few years, many start performing.
  11. I had to do a double take when I was watching the last inning while seated behind the Seattle dugout. The announcer stated that the "pitcher", Mastrobuoni, was at bat. Mastrobuoni obviously pitched the eighth due to the lopsided score. Regardless, I cannot ever recall a pitcher being announced as a hitter at Target Field. On top of that, he had a single which ended up being the lone opposing team RBI. So, can anybody find a pitcher ever hitting an RBI at Target Field? Could this be a record? It was a strange game, but I am so happy that I braved the 4 1/2 hour wait. GO TWINS!!!!!
  12. I may be jinxing it...but when was the last time the Twins pitched back to back shutouts?
  13. I am sitting in a nearly empty stadium watching something that is just...WOW...don't think they have to worry about the bullpen overuse...Bride may be able to end this one
  14. It was worth staying over 4 hours to catch this game
  15. Detroit won 8-0 today...hate to see what is waiting for the Twins this weekend...it would be great for the Twins to sweep 🙃
  16. Maybe time to see a psychiatrist...his facial expression was awful after the last bat.
  17. Of course...two starting pitchers with ERAs north of 5.0...surprised there was not more runs...Twins had better pad their lead.
