Random thought here. There's been a lot of buzz about the historically good rookie trio of Julien, Wallner, and Lewis, but I haven't seen anyone observe that this happened despite the Twins' farm system being fairly low-ranked coming into the season, and for the last couple of seasons for that matter.

I would say our system has been more middle of the pack than low ranked. I'd also caution that we had a top notch rookie last year who is struggling in AAA this year. Odds are that one of the three regresses next year, one stays at baseline and one becomes a star. I think we all think Lewis becomes the star but both of the others have enough holes in their overall game to cause reservation.
