This series proves the Twins do not bow down to the Yankees anymore....We wont win them all but we dont bow down to any team, anymore. Our pitchers will stop relying on the hitters, they will get it figured out. Till then, our Starters need to go 8 innings....We win tonight and send the Yankees off with a message, that we will be around in Oct.....

The guys in the dugout were so excited when they tied the game in the 9th last night! They were so happy. The good thing about this series is that the Twins no longer just lay down and Give the games to the supposive "best" team in MLB...The Twins know their hitters are the best in the game today. Last night's game looked like the beginning of this season again. Nice to see Rocco getting the boot, we need him to stand up for his players sometimes! Fix the pitching. Send the relievers to psychologists to figure out why they let pressure get to them? Threaten to send them to Detroit! Do something today. Even the Best hitters can't carry the load all the way...

I wish we could sell half of our bullpen to Cleveland! I think our 4 starters are good, but they need to start pitching into the 8th inning like pitchers did back in the day....To pull out a guy who has given up 0-2 runs is not working...I personally like Smeltzer and I think he will be a good pitcher. I'd rather put him in for 2 to 3 innings until he gets more time. I'd rather have a slump in June than September. Go Twins-sweep the Yankees! -

Is there a law that says a pitcher can't pitch past the 6th inning?? Imagine if Jack Morris would have come out in the 6th in that little game he won...Can we put a bow on Trevor May's cap and send him to Cleveland? please? Twins have their lucky Red on tonite! Let's win this!
