    I fear that's the plan no matter what he does in spring training. Good or bad he is definitely getting a head start in the race to see who starts at 1B.

    Couldn't agree more on Bader. I really fear he is going to be far more then CF backup, late inning D replacement, and spot corner OF starter. I blame this fear on TC history when acquiring Bader type guys. Really hope I'm wrong.

    I will take having a team with three (Lopez, Ober, Ryan) #2 starters over a team with one ace.

    Again with the Gasper has experience at catcher talk. I don't think he has played a MLB inning at catcher.

    Gasper will be 30 YOA in October and has had 18 career ABs. If he's being counted on as an impact player TC is in deep dog doodoo. I think that him even getting called up to MLB is proof positive the season is a catastrophic failure.
