    Tom Brady never asks to be the highest paid; in fact this is one of the only years he's taken a raise. He'd rather win than make more money. Nelson Cruz took less money to go to a team he thought he fit in with better. Lots of athletes do it. It's the fact that he wasn't trying to go to the best team (Yankees) and would only sign with a team that offered him the most money. I took a paycut to move to a place I wanted to live. I think a lot of people would rather be happy in a place they love than live in a place they don't like to make more money.

    Let's get this big time W tonight! Go Twins! Corbin is a Syracuse native. Buddy is friends with a relative of his and said that Corbin was going for the highest payday rather than the best team. Time to make that greedy SOB pay!

    Agreed. Littell is a bullpen piece in the majors. Doesn't have the velocity or secondary pitches to go 5-6-7 innings. Nothing wrong with being a good bullpen guy though, especially in today's game.

    Provus and Gladden talking about how the Nats haven't won a playoff series in 10 years or so. How many times have the Twins won a playoff series in 20 years? Wouldn't make that a point of conversation if I were them.
