Royce Lewis was the Twins top pick in the 2017, the #1 overall pick out of JSerra Catholic High School.
He had a strong pro debut that year in the GCL and at Cedar Rapids. He began the 2018 season on an immensely-talented Kernels team. Shortly after the All Star break, he was promoted to Ft. Myers where he helped the MIracle to a Florida State League title.
In 2019, he split the season between Ft. Myers and Double-A Pensacola. Following the season, he went to the Arizona Fall League where he was named the league's MVP.
Lewis has been the Twins Daily Twins Top Prospect the past three years, and you'll find out next week if he retains that title.
This week, he was named as a Non-Roster invite to Twins spring training for the third time.
