With the Twins looking as though they are heading in a similar direction to the Pirates, there is an argument to be made that they have a better balance of talent on their roster than the Pirates did in Derek Shelton's tenure (aside from Paul Skenes). Could this better balance of talent on the Twins roster help Shelton show he can manage with a better team than what he was handed in Pittsburgh?
