Minnesota Twins 2024 sixth-round pick Derek Bender has been released. ESPN's Jeff Passan and Kiley McDaniel reported that, while catching, Bender was tipping pitches to opposing Lakeland Tigers hitters and told teammates it was because he wanted the season to be over. His Mighty Mussels team was fighting Lakeland for a playoff spot in a race that was decided in the final weekend of the regular season. Tonight's recap includes my reaction to that news, updates on the health Emmanuel Rodriguez and Byron Buxton, as well as highlights of Carson McCusker and Kala'i Rosario.
