  1. I'd really like to get this guy and would definitely be excited if he became a Twin, but I'd be lying if I said his delivery doesn't scare the bejeezus out of me. Maybe I'm worrying too much but definitely YouTube the guy to see what I'm talking about. Could have some potential arm issues in the future... On the other hand, if he can stay healthy, Manaea would fit in well with our upcoming crop of talented pitchers. Plus, he's lefthanded, something we are lacking in our system, it seems. A future rotation of Meyer/Manaea/Gibson/May/Worley/Diamond/etc. is fun to think about...
  2. Very nice list Jim. I agree with all 10 guys you have listed and, for the most part, the order as well (I'd probably flip Gibson and Rosario). Also pretty excited for an outfield (hopefully) featuring Buxton and Kepler this year in CR. Hope to make it to a few games this year.
  3. What Hermsen's been doing this year with such a low strikeout rate is incredible (incredibly lucky?). Have to imagine he would be making a few more Top 10 lists were he striking more guys out. Still think he can be a serviceable #4/#5 in the show, but I'm curious if he can maintain this success into next season. Oh yea, my Top 10: 1. Miguel Sano 2. Eddie Rosario 3. Byron Buxton 4. Oswaldo Arcia 5. Aaron Hicks 6. J.O. Berrios 7. Max Kepler 8. Kyle Gibson 9. Travis Harrison 10. Niko Goodrum
  4. Hicks 1-3 with a 3B and BB. Arcia 1-2 with a 2B, BB and 2 RBIs. Sano and Rosario both with errors early for Beloit. Sano's 38th.
  5. Fair enough, but my point is that, love him or hate him, Cuddyer was one of the few guys who would step up and say something when things were bad. They should have known they were losing more than just a good right-handed bat when he left, he also brought a clubhouse presence that a Joe Mauer or Denard Span has yet to possess. You can't blame Cuddyer for leaving, he could see where things were headed. It's too bad the team's management didn't have that forethought.
  6. Does Angel Morales fit into this conversation at all? I know he's played with Hicks a bit meaning he hasn't played center an awful lot, but I've read he has the speed and arm to play there. Does seem to have contact issues which need to be rectified but all of these guys have flaws (they are minor leaguers). I've heard everything from "could be a Carlos Beltran-type" to "could be the next Carlos Gomez" on this guy but who knows. An outfield of Benson in left, Hicks in center, and Arcia/Morales in right has me salivating, but everyone needs to realize that a lot has to go right for all three/four of those guys. And I'm really hoping the organization doesn't fall too in love with Revere. I like the kid and he is fun to watch, I just don't see him as a great building block for the future.
