1. No prob! I live for drafts - digging up information, discussing it with fellow comrades and obsessing about it.
 2. I reallllly want this to happen. You could consider me dead-from-elation if we went Stewart 4, Boldt 43.
 3. May as well add in the Jim Callis chat stuff here too:
 4.

Comment From Kyle If you had to guess, what are the chances that the Twins take a position player at #4?

11:42 David Rawnsley: I would say 50/50 based on the fact that there are 3 pitchers (Shipley, Stewart, Stanek) and 3 hitters (Moran, Frazier, McGuire) that are either at that level or are linked with the Twins. I would lean to the pitcher, though, at this point. Moran actually sounds like he has a lot of Joe Mauer in his offensive approach/results.
5.

Comment From Bret Re: Reese McGuire, what your takes on him? I get that the defense can be special, but I haven't heard great things about the bat potential. Would you all agree with that?

11:23 Todd Gold: No, I like his bat as well. That's what's so special about him, not only is he an elite defender, but he should contribute with the bat as well. Guys like that don't come around all that often.
Even though I don't want him, suppose I better post since it's a chance we take him....
 6.

Comment From Andrew What's the latest buzz on Red Wing OF Ryan Boldt? Thought to be a late 1st rounder before slight knee injury, now possibly slips out. Hearing that?

11:09 David Rawnsley: Not only does the knee injury (surgery for torn meniscus) hurt him, he didn't play outside all spring before that. He simply hasn't been seen since the fall and that's a long time for a team to go without eyes on a player. I expect him to fall out of the first round but not too far. Someone will bargain hunt in the 30-45 range. That's still $1M+ territory.
I'd love the Twins to take Boldt at 43. I may be biased since I am from Red Wing and played High School football with his brother tho....
 7. They answered one of mine right away:

Comment From Andrew Twins have been linked a ton to Kohl Stewart in various mock drafts. Is this due to industry knowledge that they like him a lot, or because they "should" take him there?

11:03 Todd Gold: If I had to guess, I think they'll target a college pitcher, but if they were to target a HS arm then Stewart would be the guy. Since there isn't a college arm that makes a ton of sense at 4 (assuming Gray and Appel are both off the board) you can see a scenario where they'd go after a HS guy instead of someone like Braden Shipley.
8. Chat got started - I've submitted a couple Twins talkers, so we'll see if they answer. Join in!
 9. Poor Reese. I may not want him on the Twins, but I wish manure-facials on no one.
 10. In case anyone wants to submit questions/lurk MLB Draft Chat: May 29 | Perfect Game USA
 11. He'll be slower than Berrios almost certainly. I've seen numerous times that right now, he's a "thrower" and needs to learn to pitch - but has the pitches/frame/skills to be every bit as good ceiling-wise as Appel/Gray. With that said, he's further away obviously - needs to develop, but scouts encouraged by his build that he's not as much of a risk for an injury as some skinny high schoolers.
 12. Congrats sir! MAN, the names in that article: Mientkiewicz, Mays, Mulder, Meche! Brings you back.
 13. Charley Walters: Minnesota Twins don't always draft for need (see Byron Buxton) By Charley Walters cwalters@pioneerpress.com Posted: 05/28/2013 12:01:00 AM CDT Updated: 05/28/2013 11:29:11 PM CDT http://extras.mnginteractive.com/live/media/site569/2013/0528/20130528__130529BUXTON_400.jpg Byron Buxton, shown playing in high school in 2011, is hitting .324 at Class A Cedar Rapids this season. (AP Photo/Appling County High School) I think BPA and need align perfectly, and that Kohl Stewart will be the pick. Whole article: http://www.twincities.com/news/ci_23336471
 14. Mike Berardino ‏@MikeBerardino1m Scout I talked with absolutely loves Alex Meyer: "He pitched great for me. 96 (mph) with a hammer breaking ball. He's not ready? Really?"
 15. Did a little bit of digging, based on BA's top 500:
199 Logan Shore, rhp, Coon Rapids (Minn.) HS

218 Luis Guillorme, ss, Coral Springs (Fla.) HS
16. Just saw this: Andrew Walter ‏@MNfanfromafar1m Hearing reports that #Rockcats starter B.J. Hermsen has been moved to the bullpen, likely to accommodate newly-arrived D.J. Baxendale
 17. Tweet exchange between me and Kiley McDaniel today: Andrew Renny‏@InfraRen Kiley McDaniel‏@kileymcd3 I haven't researched Shore/Guillorme at all yet - will, but anyone got any intel on them?
 18. Yeah, I'd be pretty dang overjoyed with a Kohl Stewart and Hunter Green as our first two picks. Maybe then we could take Royal Blue in the 3rd.
 19. I then asked him about Twins potential interest in Ryan Boldt at 43 if he fell: Darren Wolfson ‏@DarrenWolfson 1m @InfraRen Not sure he lasts until No. 43. ... I think the Twins go pitcher and catcher or pitcher and pitcher w/ first two picks.
 20. Darren Wolfson ‏@DarrenWolfson4m The precise date the #MNTwins are bringing HS LHP Hunter Green (& possibly other draft prospects) into town for a look is next Monday.
 21. ^Interesting!
 22. No prob! Yeah, it does seem that way. McDaniel definitely makes it sound like that's the consensus league-wide. Fingers crossed.
 23. New Kiley McDaniel mock from today. Also hits on Stewart/McGuire talkers (hope he's right): Pick 4 RHP Kohl StewartSt. Pius X HS (TX) Player: Kohl Stewart Height: 6-3 Weight: 195 Age (Draft Day): 18.66 Current Team: St. Pius X HS (TX) Position: P Bats: R Throws: R Minnesota Twins General Manager: Terry Ryan Scouting Director: Deron Johnson Draft Slot Amount: $4,544,400 ANALYSIS: This is another pick that the industry seems to think is a foregone conclusion if things shake out as I have them, but I gets antsy when a pick looks like a slam dunk this early. Reese McGuire is the hot rumor but one source indicated this week that he thinks the McGuire rumors are just misdirection to keep Stewart's price down. Stewart's dual-sport leverage as a QB recruit for Texas A&M could spike his price tag if he's confident he's a top-5 pick. Trey Ball's name has also come up but it would be very hard to justify taking him this high. For the whole thing: http://sbb.scout.com/2/1294726.html
