My friends: Justin Morneau, class act.
cattlefeeder replied to PseudoSABR's topic in Minnesota Twins Talk
If that's true, then it makes Morneau even easier to root for. Based on the way current and former teammates lobbied...HARD...for him to make the All-Star roster, he's a beloved teammate now. If that's only after a major shift in personality it's all the more remarkable. -
Agree with all of you. Get Meyer and May up sooner rather than later. Hopefully there's no horsing around with the Super 2 date next year. 2015 needs to be viewed as a year for contending and every game might count. If they can hang around .500 as long as they did this year, there's no reason that all of these guys shouldn't be on the table, April, May, June, whenever: Meyer May Berrios Burdi Sano Buxton Vargas Ortiz The window starts to open next season - don't give a year away. Empty out the farm system. The only guys that shouldn't be considered available are probably Stewart, Gordon and maybe Polanco.

Were there any drops or DLs at Rochester and New Britain to make room? Hamburger's promotion looks like it might have been a spot start.

I'm over in Eastern Iowa and WNAX comes through loud and clear as long as the sun's up. Getting a part-time Cedar Rapids FM station is a great addition, but I'm still more familiar with South Dakota implement dealers and Nebraska tornados than I need to be.

I'm another big Twins fan in Iowa, from just south of Iowa City. My kids are going to get to see a lot of baseball next year.
