    Who came up with this headline? Did you write about the Twins biggest weakness and how Morrison did/did not address it? I think the biggest weakness is starting pitching (as others have noted) but based on the headline I assumed that another weakness was going to be discussed. Disappointed.

    Where is your evidence that Doumit is one of the better DHs in the league? I think he had a good year last year, but for me, the eye test wouldn't put him among that group. Now maybe his production would put him in that group, but you need to support your arguments. Just stating it doesn't make it so.

    The problem is that Mauer is their best #1, #2, and #3 hitter. If only he could hit in all three at the same time.

    I know it's just a typo, but Knoblauch was not AL MVP in 1991. He was the ROY.

    Further examination of his career causes me to think that last year was an aberration. His numbers this year currently support that conclusion. Plus, at 28 it is unlikely that he will get any better. The Twins should stop signing reclamation projects because it does NOTHING to improve this team. They need to concentrate on adding proven major league talent this off-season.

    This is a difference without a distinction. Since they own the team, ballpark revenues belong to the Twins owners. So whether they reach into their personal bank accounts or use ballpark revenues is irrelevant. We may be dissapointed that they don't spend more on payroll, but that has nothing to do with how they are paying for their share of the stadium.

    Your point about not using the AS game to determine home field advantage in the World Series is spot on. The team with the best record should get the home field advantage.

    The ideal spot would be Texas. After losing the last two World Series, I can see them spending the resources to increase their chances for the next couple of years. They have room for an upgrade at 1B and they have the prospects to deal. How's this for a lineup: Kinsler, Andrus, Hamilton, Beltre, Morneau, Young, Napoli, Cruz, Murphy. Hopefully they can get one of Martin Perez, Neil Ramirez, or Jurickson Profar.

    The Twins should publish nutritional information for the menu. Then again, I probably don't want to know.

    If Justin is healthy, nobody should be getting his ABs.

    I don't think any of Carroll, Casilla, and Hughes has done enough to earn a full time starting spot. I'd like to see the playing time split equally between them. There are generally 6 games per week and two positions to fill, so let them each start 4 games per week or so. I'd have Hughes play 2B, Casilla play SS, and Carroll switch between SS and 2B depending on the other starter. Then if one (or hopefully two) of them get hot, they can get more PT. If the Twins did this, they'd benefit from the strengths of each player while limiting their exposure to each guys weaknesses.

    I like starting Dozier, but I'd rather see him at 2B with Casilla at SS and Carroll as the utility infielder.

    I and a group of friends split a full package plus a 40 game package. I personally have tickets to 25 games. Our seats are in sections 107 and 125.

    Maybe a change isn't needed, but saying it's always been part of the game is not a valid reason to avoid change. Can you imagine baseball with only white players? How about without a DH or the wild card teams? Ok...those last two were bad examples. :-)
