  1. Certainly before the Twins platoon Hicks, they have to explore the RHB vs. RHP angle, no?
  2. 1. I would say so, considering Suzuki has literally never been removed from a game due to injury. 2. I think it has to be wrong/too close positioning. Adam Jones has a big swing but he doesn't hit every catcher in the head 3 times per PA like he did to Pinto. I assume the same is true about this other guy who knocked him. As a guess, perhaps Pinto cheats closer to the plate to aid in blocking pitches since that seems to have been a persistent area of struggle.
  3. Hicks vs RHP: .257/.308/.371 (39 PAs) vs. LHP: .350/.480/.650 (25 PAs)
  4. See folks. Its a soft G sound.
  5. You're right, its dumb. I'm sorry.
  6. I said, oh no you didn't! http://stream1.gifsoup.com/view7/2799613/oh-no-you-didn-t-o.gif
  7. XRay's on May's elbow negative
  8. Heh, of the 7 active players to have played at the Kingdome, 4 are former Twins. Hawkins, Hunter, Ortiz, Pierzynski.
  9. Halsey actually proposed a toast to "the Plouffe-man," as he called him, after that play.
  10. (raises hand) Three years, one day, and however long it takes Stauffer to get his velocity back
  11. Much better to be the team making the other guys pay for sloppy defense
  12. He just seemed to be settling into a groove too. Hopefully he doesn't miss a start or... no... he wouldn't lose his spot to Nolasco over this? Nope nope nope nope...
  13. If I had to guess.... Paul Pleiss.
  14. Imagine if Pelfrey was the long-man and he got as much time as he needed to warm up lol
  15. Ah crap. Right off the elbow. No way he can pitch, can he? Proud of the kid for finishing the play though.
  16. Es-coooooooooo Cruz 9. Twins 9.
  17. I think that just confirms you ate the authentic stuff. Either that or compost. You didn't accidentally eat a composted corn cob did you?
  18. You mean like Butera? Ah the good old days, when there was only one sub-.200 batter we could pile onto.
  19. Mauer swung at like 10 bad pitches there. Very un-Mauer
  20. Keep an eye on that. Framing stats love Zunino, hate Suzuki.
