  1. I would love this move. It makes to much sense with how injury prone we are, as a team. While I would love this, this would mean Ehrie or Willians would be booted off the roster, perferably Ehire.
  2. That’s what the winter meetings are for...
  3. I absolutely love this deal. Gives Gordon time to build himself up in AAA. Could not be more pleased.
  4. I would LOVE if the Twins were to pick up SP Shelby Miller who was non-tendered. I see him as the next Eovaldi. He's only 28. And remember, the Dbacks gave up the 1st overall pick for him and then some to get him from the Braves, so he has the potential to be great. I think Wes Johnson would do a great job with him, velocity wise.
  5. Wayyy to much.
  6. Disappointing to say the least but I wouldn’t have paid him $23 million for someone your hoping will have a bounce back year.
  7. So this theoretically ends the hope that Nelson Cruz will join the Twins which is a major disappointment. 0.9 war difference between Cruz and Cron which is considerable. I do not believe that Cron is the answer at DH because of what happened to LoMo last year. Also, the Angels gave Cron up for crumbs and the Rays gave him up for nothing which makes you wonder if there’s something going on in the clubhouse. I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t like if a player was slowing us down. I also wouldn’t be surprised if we flip him for a relief pitcher then sign Nelson Cruz but that’s highly unlikely since any team coulda picked him up this past week.
  8. Umm guys, this might be huge.
  9. Great video on Wes. Looks like a smart, talented baseball mind.
  10. Also, per the Pioneer Press, Jermey Hefner will be the next bullpen coach.
  11. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one
  12. Guys Sid was 61 when Rocco was born. Crazy
