    Dont know if TC had any interest in the guy but Mets did. They picked up him and his 4.12 ERA and 8-5 record over 111 innings for prospects. Also got an OF Tyler Trainor I think in the deal.

    I thought it was perfect that the season ended on the teams glaring weakness. Way to many strikeouts. Im pretty sure they will have the same weakness in 2024 accompanied by less effective starting pitching. Not a good combo.

    They win the division (weak as it was) and a short playoff series then cut payroll the next year. Pohlads are not serious about competing for a League Championship let alone WS title.
