Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Flyout, broken bat bloop, bloop, bad throw. Men on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out
Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 How much weight did he lose? Can I still call him Tugboat (see image below if you're not familiar with 1990's era WWF wrestlers) http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSdIGkQCiM4XNI8EZ5OAontRAQLdFGjyp94BQj0liI9ZvMA1_rTEQThat looks like Coffey Capps lost just a few...
Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Flyout to LF. Runner at 3rd respects Revere's arm and does not tag. Flyout to Center. inning over
Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Parmelee grounds out to second, Valencia strikes out, Dinkelman ground out to second to end the inning
Twins Fan From Afar Verified Member Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Parmelee grounds out to second, Valencia strikes out, Dinkelman ground out to second to end the inningGeez, you're worse than the Twins broadcasters. Can you please mention the score at the end of every half-inning?Joke.I appreciate the updates!!
Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Impressive performance by Perkins. Two Ks on batters looking at his slider and a week GO back at him at a 94 mph FB
Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Pearce grounds out to short, Benson Ks, Casilla singles through the middle (Florimon PR), Mastroianni (PH for Revere) grounds out to 3rd. Mid 7. still 3-0 Twins
Nick Nelson Site Manager Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 If Revere is forced to play against the Yankees when CC Sabathia is pitching, he should literally be bunting every at-bat (well, maybe not literally). With a huge pitcher on the mound, A-Rod at third and Teixeira at first, the opportunities are endless.Same goes for the Tigers with Cabrera at third and Fielder at first.
powrwrap Verified Member Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 The difference between Dan Gladden and Cory Provus calling the game is incredible! I'm really liking Provus so far.
Twins Fan From Afar Verified Member Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Same goes for the Tigers with Cabrera at third and Fielder at first.Good point!
Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Duensing: groundout to third, flyout to left, Single that Benson cut really well to hold it to a single with a slide, BB, ground out to second end of 7 Twins 3-0. Some command issues especially against RHB
Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Great bunt single by Brian Dozier to start the 8th
Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Towles hits into a FC, beats the throw to 1st to avoid the GIDP
Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Jeff Gray in and very wild. Trouble locating FB then tossing in the middle of the plate. A double so far
Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 A flyout, and a long fly at LF dropped by Mastroianni, scoring a run. 3-1 Twins
minn55441 Provisional Member Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 I agree, I think we will really like Provus calling the games. I only heard a little as I was driving around at lunch today, but I already like his call. Now if only they will make Gladden stick to solely color responsibility. He is just painful to listen to.
oprahchapelle Provisional Member Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Twins better hope some of these guys can win some games in AAA, otherwise Rochester is going tell the twins thanks but no thanks to being the twins AAA affiliate
Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Flyout to LF (Mastroianni caught that and I really need to tape Bert killing his name), single to the right, runner scores. 3-2 Twins
Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 A base on balls and a ground out to short. Gray and the Twins get out with just the 2 runs damage. Twins up 3-2 (for a while at least.) Doom is warming up in the pen
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Towles get caught stealing secondWhat is a catcher doing trying to steal second?
Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Valencia grounds to third, Arcia strikes out swinging on curveballs outside the zone, Carson draws a walk, Benson strikes out looking. He will be wearing the hood tonight. Bottom of 9th Twins up 3-2
Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 What is a catcher doing trying to steal second?Someone sent him But it was pretty close
righty8383 Verified Member Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Twins better hope some of these guys can win some games in AAA, otherwise Rochester is going tell the twins thanks but no thanks to being the twins AAA affiliateWould that really be a bad thing if Rochester was no longer our affiliate?
Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Doumatrait strikes a minor leaguer with soft tosses low and away in the zone
Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Mastroianni a nice catch at deep left. Two outs
Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Doom gets the save with the last batter striking out looking. 3-2 Twins
