The Minnesota Twins pounded the Padres 11-4 Wednesday, stringing together seven runs in the fourth inning alone. Both Trevor Larnach and Edouard Julien had four hits in that one. Matt Wallner provided the big blast with a three-run homer. Down in the minors, Anthony Prato snapped the Saints 10-game losing steak by hitting a line drive through a five-man infield to walk it off. Toby Gardenhire was ejected in the first inning of that one after a home run call had been reversed. For Wichita, both Jake Rucker and Carson McCusker had multi-homer games. Kaelen Culpepper picked up his first hit with Cedar Rapids, a double, while fellow 2024 draftees Billy Amick and Jay Thomason each hit their first pro homers for Fort Myers.
