  1. I gotta believe this is in part just making sure Buxton appreciates that the job isn't a lock for him. I don't mind him as the 4th outfielder, bring him in for late innings when you want someone faster than Sano to keep the balls from dropping. I'm hoping this doesn't cut off any opportunities for Kepler this season.
  2. I've decided to try and follow the Brewers a bit. I lived in Wisconsin for 5 years so I at least have some ties to the team, and have people I can bother when I want to make it out to a game. Sure they don't look extremely competitive currently, but I think they'll have a quicker turnaround than expected by many.
  3. Hopefully this re-branding as the best Wild Podcast in Minnesota continues next week
  4. Very happy to get some resolution on the mattress saga
  5. Maybe I wasn't paying enough attention at the time, but when times were grim for the Twins they didn't seem to publicly admit they were working on a rebuild? Looking back now it seems obvious to me that that was what their internal goal was, but their public statements all seemed to be aimed at trying to 'win now' even though the moves didn't correspond.
  6. Sort of surprised to not see Nats fans due to the Senators connection. Also not seeing anyone call out the NL equivalent of the Twins, a year or two back I would have said the Phillies.
  7. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels inclined to cheer for an NL team in addition to cheering for the Twins. I've found myself cheering for the Pirates because I sort of like how they handle their team, and I do find myself watching a ton of Dodgers games because I love Vin and Kershaw. I still haven't settled on a permanent NL team though. My question for everyone at Twins Daily is who is your NL team, and why? Bonus question, who do you feel is the NL equivalent of our beloved Twins, and why?
  8. Rather take a run at Shawn Kelley than Rodney tbh.
  9. I wouldn't mind Rodney if the price was right, but I doubt the price will be right. Plenty of teams looking for bullpen arms this off-season. Rodney's value will be boosted due to that. Better off just paying a worthy player, than talking a flier at a higher cost than necessary.
  10. Much rather have Sipp. Hoping those rumors have some weight to them.
