They shouldn't hit the free agent market too hard, signing a couple 8 figure free agents will just make them another 100 million dollar 90 loss team, they need to be smart and not overpay another Ricky Nolasco out of desperation an save the money for when they are a couple payers away from being competitive, not 10 players

I agree, but the thing is, I don't think they have anyone better, sad to say. Diamond could go, but I'd rather see him in the pen for a bit before exposing him, just last year he would have been the opening day starter if not for an injury.

Bartlett, Kubel, Roefling, and Theilbar should go down, all of them will be there if needed, it's better than losing guys who haven't panned out as regulars, but haven't gotten a good look as a backup or bullpen guy.

I think they'll keep Parmelee over Kubel, Kubel gets $2 million if he makes the roster, and I don't think they want lose Parmelee for nothing yet, I wouldn't mind seeing Presley, Hicks, and Arcia in the outfield and move Willingham to DH, that looks very good defensively, but I can't see that with Pinto up.I don't like the backup catcher being the DH, unless they change their mind and let Mauer be the emergency catcher, but only to finish a game, if needed
