Could not agree with Crikket more. I'm sure these pitchers in camp are working on their delivery and pitch control, for the opening of the season. Let's see what the next week brings, as things get a little more serious.

Sorry to lose you and your wife from here in Rochester. Remember us fondly friend.

Well, ah ... Thanks Nick that certainaly depressed me. Ryan Dempster Guy.

Thanks for the blog on Twins Daily. Just wanted to say Hi to a fellow Rochesterite.

Thanks Seth, John, Nick and Parker! And everyone else who contributes here. I'm not much of a thread starter or Blogster (?word) just an old Baseball fan who loves to read the stuff you guys write on here. I'll chip in once in awhile if I think I might have something of interest to add, but you guys do a great job, be it Hot Stove, Spring Training or the Regular Season, I love it all. Happy Holidays Everyone

Seth: Help me out. I might have missed something. Is James Beresford still with the Twins? Is he in Australia?

Agree 100% with J.C. Let's give Terry Ryan a little time here. Pitchers and Catchers don't report for 3 months yet. Trades are always great fodder for the Hot Stove League. Connie Mack dismantled 2 World Champion teams, in the teens; Frank 'Home Run' Baker, Eddie Collins et al. Then again in the 30's with Jimmy Foxx, 'Lefty' Grove, Al Simmons and others. I remember growing up ... Harvey Kuenn for Rocky Colovito ... man I was knocked back on my 10yr. old butt by that one! Let's wait a bit to see what TR does.

It would be interesting that's for sure. I guess it all depends on what we do with Morneau/Parmlee and Span/Revere/Willingham on the trade market. Hopefully, Hicks will be read to go.

Geez, 1-2 mins. at a time, 5- 6 times a game. Hardly a major loss.

What's his status? Winter League..ReHab..Sitting at home with his feet up? I agree, would like to keep him. But maybe more value in a, throw in/trade type guy.

John, Seth ... Are Butera and Rivera holding back Herrmann and Lehmann's development at the AAA level? When is the time to cut whose 2 lose, and give the kids a chance?

I remember that Jim H ! Ortiz was constantly in TK's dog house. He pretty much ran him out of town

We need Butera on the team to catch all those in the dirt sliders that Frankie throws ( 5 innings at the most ) and then bring in Mauer or Doumit.

I know Sunday is the first radio game. Can ESPN1500.com broadcast ST games?

God I hope he can play this year. 1st. - DH, whatever. Another lost season, I fear, without him.
