Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Good to see the Twins playing their first spring training game tomorrow. Baseball is finally here Any ideas on radio/tv/internet coverage of the game? I suspect since that it is a B game there will not even be an official boxscore available, so we'd be in the mercy of twitter for updates, but I just had to ask Thanks!
Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 There is no media, although some of the Twins and Red Sox media will certainly be in attendance and tweeting. It's technically just a scrimmage. I posted the lineups in the Game Threads to be fun!
Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2012 Author Posted March 1, 2012 that's what I figured too... (so twitter it is) any idea when the Twins' radio crew is going down there?
glanzer Provisional Member Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Obviously this game isn't TV-worthy, but overall I'm disappointed in the lack of Twins TV coverage in Spring Training. I have MLB.TV and I went through the schedule and checked, and the Twins have the fewest televised spring games in the majors with just 6, and I believe half of those are from the opponents' broadcasts. The ones FSN does carry are weekday day games. The Phillies by comparison have 23 telecasts. I imagine FSN is already jam-packed with Wolves and Wild games though.
