  1. Dozier's been great to see on the field. What is his field rating for runs saved (I forget the metric name)? It's got to be high. Given that the Twins suck at short, but have Rosario waiting in the wings at second, should they move Dozier back to short? Does he play second that much better than short and that much worse than Floriman for it to be a huge loss? His bat would be huge upgrade over Floriman (or Escobar). Would Dozier slump having to retool for SS?
  2. So Gardy recently made 1000 wins. And added two more, even though he was absent. As of 4/12, Gardy is now at 1003-953 record. There is the possibility he will reach two more milestones this year. 1) 1000 losses 2) .500 win/loss percentage. If the Twins lose the next 50 games, Gardy will reach both milestones in early June. Even though the Twins are bad, they are not THAT bad. By my California math, the Twins would need to lose 50 more games than they win this year for Gardy to hit .500 (or at least be 50 games under at some point in the season). This would project to a 56-106 record. Do you think the Twins can make it this year? On the other hand, I think Gardy losing 1000 games is easily in reach. My prediction would be between All-Star break and Aug 1. What are yours?
  3. Here's mine (maybe more wish list) - Joe will move into the #2 batting order slot. Bat .355. OBP = .475. HR = 4. GIDP = 24. Which means that when he's not getting base, he's rolling over grounders to 2B. Maybe I don't dream big enough!
  4. I noticed the Yankees a little light on this list. Guess they don't need our cast offs! It would be great to see the Orioles beat the Yankees with all of our "stars".
