The Minnesota Twins have been rated as having one of the best farm systems in the MLB (#2 by ESPN). While the past few years have been abysmal and sad, thanks to Bill Smith's leadership, the future is beginning to look very bright. In this article we will take a look at the projected lineups, defensive alignments, and pitching rotations of the years to come and compare them with projected stats to last years team as well as each other. There is a lot to be said for the vision that our current GM, Terry Ryan, has laid out in his moves this past offseason. He has revitalized a Minor League system that has been overlooked and depleted since he left us 4 years ago. Our pitching rotation has not looked so deep in recent memory. The trades of both Denard Span and Ben Revere took a lot of us by surprise but were very good moves when you look down the road at a scary good pitching staff the Twins will be sporting in just a year or two. He also provided us with some stop gap players at minimal cost to help ease the nearly inevitable pain and suffering 2013 will bring.
