stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 A crushing loss for Rochester. They blew a 6-1 lead in the ninth. Diamond with a really good outing, but the bully imploded.

lightfoot789 Verified Member Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Tough loss for the Kernels and Hudson Boyd. He pitched a solid game. Adam Brett Walker was 3-4 with his 31st double. His speed is underrated - He went 1st to 3rd on a wild pitch. That is impressive. I hope the Kernels start a new win streak with this home series this weekend. They have a shot at some attendance records if they keep winning.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 I'm not sure what the Twins logic with Walker was. Maybe they feel like him having success is a good thing and will not push it too far this season? From my prospective (and Keith Law) he had no business being in low A the entire year. He is a college guy, he is doing what he should (if he is going to legitimately be an MLB player). Guess I'd just like some insight on what their plan with him is and why they are holding him back.
Bob Sacamento Verified Member Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Buxton on base seven times today.Well he was pitched around all night, he had one IBB but several other nonintentional intentional walks. I think he's going to start seeing alot more of that the rest of the season and playoffs, make someone else beat you.
