cmathewson Provisional Member Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Agreed, but given the org needs, pitching and middle infield are without a doubt what's needed. I'm sure he would also consider a catcher. Most of the catchers in the system are the Hermann type--nice bench players but not everyday backstops.

PseudoSABR Verified Member Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 The Twins could of got Alfonso Soriano for Blackburn and only 5m for next season better than Poffy. Enough said!I love your sarcasm! It's so dry!
cmb0252 Provisional Member Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Ken Rosenthal reports that the Rangers, yes the Rangers, might listen to offers on Joe Nathan. Rosenthal says: "If the Rangers proceed, it would be with the idea of dealing from strength and exploiting a thin market for relievers, a sources says." If the market is that desperate for top end RPing what are the Twins doing with Perkins? A team that is a clear buyer is thinking about trading their closer because of the market why aren't we? I'm confused....
