Is anyone aware of any news on Buxton's return? Was hoping to catch a game in New Britain on May 3rd, but, have a sinking sensation BB will not be in attendance.

Is anyone aware of any news on Buxton's return? Was hoping to catch a game in New Britain on May 3rd, but, have a sinking sensation BB will not be in attendance.

 

Twins beat reporters were tweeting this afternoon that Buxton either started taking BP on the field today or will do so tomorrow. Could begin EST games next week. May 3 would, I think, be a little iffy for New Britain, but you never know.

Another problem that makes me think that there is no way that he will be in NB in a couple weeks is that the weather up here is so darn cold still with the highs barely touching 60 and the lows maybe 40. Mid May is a better bet. They should not subject him to that anyways. Zero reason to rush.
