One of the talks of spring training is the addition of the ABS challenge, which we’ve seen in the minors the last two years. Here’s my unpopular take on it.

Not Unpopular, just a bad opinion. I ran it at a AAA park the last 2 years average time for all AAA was somewhere under17 seconds and typically 15 seconds. In the Majors it will be at least that fast due to expectations. Wildly popular with fans no complaints on time. In addition there will not be but a few during games in the majors because umpires learn the strike zone quickly and don't like being wrong a typical game may be extended by 90 seconds worst case scenario. I get that you may not like the technology but this is just silly to complain on the time aspect.
