Looks like maybe Darnell is the new Deduno until something is decided on what to do with Pelfrey??

I know it's easy for me to say but I wouldn't worry to much about Pelfrey at this point. I think there are lots of better options who are all part of the longer term plan. I don't think Pelfrey will ever help the Twins. I say do whatever you've got to do with him to make room for these other guys. Then again, I'm not the one writing his checks.

...or they could just use Darnell to start on Tuesday. Think about it, he's not "Alex Meyer flashy" but he's proven to be a consistent workhorse that pitches deep into games and gives you a chance every time out. Sounds like what the doc ordered to me.

I think if Darnell throws well, we'll see Deduno start on Tuesday and Logan take over his role in the pen. That's seems to make the most sense if Pelfrey is about to get bumped.
