Could not disagree more. 4m for an average player on a team with a logjam of redundant players. If this team was on tje verge of making the playoffs, then maybe. However, the sliding doors effect. Maybe Rodriguez breaks camp with the Twins amd he doesnt get hurt slidding into 1st base with the Saints. Pohlad wanted meaning full games in Sept, while cutting payroll. The was dillusional as was expecting anything g more than average plus offense and bad defense. This was a career year from Larnach and he was avg at best. He was not in the long term plans and the opportunity vost of him taking reps for future players was a mistake.
