It is interesting to note that Doumit/Swarzak never connected during live ST games, except possibly live B games.

I hope they'll get on the same page.

I don't think Hughes is necessarily a better hitter/player than Casilla, but I like him in the lineup. With Revere, Casilla, Span and Carroll all batting back to back we end up with 4 slap hitters in a row. Hughes helps break that up some. Interesting that we haven't seen Plouffe start a game yet, either.

Let it rock... Let's run it up the flag pole and see if someone salutes. Let's throw it against the wall and see if it sticks. I'm all for moving things around a little. Here's to a 1-2 start to the season after today.

Sigh.........pretty discouraging , not end of the world stuff but just no plate discipline at all, not making Hamel work, too many swings off the plate and nobody seems capable of finding their pitch.

To stay positive, the defense has been stellar, Willingham, Hughes, Burroughs and now Carrol have all made exceptional plays, that's encouraging. Gotta find a silver lining somewhere.

Carroll made another great play today.

Burroughs made a couple great plays today.

Willingham even made a great play today.

I can't remember Delmon ever making that play out in the corner like Josh did today.

So, there you have it. They may have made an upgrade in LF.

RF... To Be Determined...
