Why Don't the Twins Draft and Develop More First Basemen?

The Twins only have Ty France on a one-year deal, so who's at first beyond 2025 is a question surrounding the team. There don't seem to be any clear internal options, as the Twins haven't drafted a first baseman in the top rounds of the draft since Aaron Sabato in 2020. Why don't they draft first basemen more often and can anyone develop into the position who's already within the farm system?
