The Minnesota Twins entered the bottom of the eighth inning up 3-0. Typically that’s a recipe for success, but the Mets got to Griffin Jax and tied the game. It felt like it was going to be another painful loss, but instead the Twins responded. Jhoan Duran and Cole Sands bought the lineup some more time and Ty France plated Byron Buxton on a walk-off single in the 10th inning. Down on the farm, Carson McCusker hit a pair of homers in what was a blowout loss for the Saints and the Mighty Mussels pitching staff flexed its muscles.
