Folks forget he’s a utility infielder. He was never meant to be a full time starter. If you buy into the whole “moneyball” management, the value is there at $800k to have him be a backup at 3rd, SS, and 2nd. It’s either poor management or the team trying to go cheap. -

I definitely don't mind the PH but probably would have just rolled with Gray while his bat seems hot. -

Not sure I fully understand sitting Gray when he seems to be on a bit of a heater. Roll with em' while they're hot for as long as you can has always been my thought process.
