Interesting thought IMO on Sano. Everyone has talked about the low avg at AA and that he hadnt completely figured it out, but I looked at his BABIP and it sat at .265. If he had an avg BABIP of .300 which is well below what he's shown in the minors, 5 more hits would've fallen in and his line at AA would have finished at 258/366/593 assuming they were all singles. Not that his .920'ish OPS wasn't still incredible, that would put him over .950 which in the age relative to league context is almost superhuman I'm all for sending him to AAA until the Super 2 deadline passes cause we need to hang onto this kid for as long as possible. More than likely he'll force a promotion after destroying AAA for a couple months but I think he's ready.

Let's take a deep breath here people. Buxton's had an incredible year but hasn't even played in the AFL, which seems to be a right of passage for all top prospects. I also used to hate how slow it seemed the Twins moved prospects but have started to change my tune. Bringing up guys at 23-24 allows them to keep a guy under team control through 29-30 essentially the first half of their peak vs 21-22 where a guy is hitting free agency right as he hits his peak. Obviously that can't factor in with a potential superstar, but it has allowed for the Twins to get cheap production out of players while letting other teams overpay in free agency for 2 years of prime production and then decline. I got off-topic but I say let him tear up AA for a month or two, then AAA for a month, and if he's still producing, he'll force his way onto the roster.

Bold call, I think the Tigers are still the class but the Indians are my dark horse to challenge them late with Bauer coming up midseason along with a deadline deal to add some reinforcements. That team reminds me a lot of early 2000's Twins teams and I think this could be the year they surprise. Royals finish 3rd, Sox 4th, and our Twins prop up the cellar.

Wasn't be showing some promise as well? Even if he had TJ which sounds right now that you mention it, I thought he'd be included somewhere.

What happened to Manuel Soliman? I thought he was a converted position prospect but didn't see him here or under SP but that he was a raw hard thrower with a chance to start
