  1. I for one am tiring of the Twins always conservative approach, picking up pitchers like Correia and last year Marquis. For once I would like to see a move that excites the fan base - a move that is risky and out of character, but has high upside. Go for an Edwin Jackson; or pull off a trade like KC just did. The overall approach of building through the farm system is good, but occasionally it would just be fun to "go for it".
  2. His value is on the rise now having hit a few homeruns lately. The Twins should trade him if the offers they get provide valuable pitching prospects. Too bad Mauer has a no-trade clause because they need to trade him as well. The Twins after all need to rebuild.
  3. Revere needs to play CF where he can track down more balls than Span; Span needs to play RF where he has excelled in the past; his arm is also more suited to RF than Revere's. Both are lead-off type hitters, however, and it would behoove the Twins to trade one - (more likely Span having more value) and get some quality veteran pitching help in return.
  4. I think they should make Duensing a starter and put Butera in a relief role. The guy can catch, hit for .300, and pitch to boot. He's turning into quite the all-around player.
  5. I gotta think this is a first step in a series of moves leading to acquiring a starting pitcher.
