That list is pretty weak. Almost all of them are Bullpen guys. But let's backtrack for a second. Glad R.A Dickey is dominating in the friendly confines of Citi Field where it's impossible to hit a jack in the weak National League where you don't even have to face Prince Fielder and Albert Poo anymore. I remember watching RA Dickey pitch and the only thing that was remotely good about him was that he didn't need to warm up to pitch. He sucked, glad he is pitching well in AAAA ball, he obviously has improved his knuckle ball which takes a lot of time to perfect. As for the list if you think there is some overall major issue with the Twins because 15 bullpen guys pitched better in their later stints well you are a jackanape then sir. Half of those guys pitched well for the Twins in any case or were injured. A big BOO URNS!

Unfortunately for Waldrop, he had done enough this spring -- and over his last two years in the minor leagues -- to earn a spot on the 25-man roster heading into the season opener - thats the quote I see from Phil Mackey. It's not referenced where he got that assumption. Even though Alex Burnett has sucked all i've heard is they want him for the 7th spot even before Waldrop got hurt. Waldrop stats from 2010/2011 back it up? AAA ball 2011 79IP 84H! Only 43Ks! Laughable! AND despite being a ground ball pitcher he gave up 7 jacks in AAA ball. But he has earned it... NOPE!

You may get the last laugh Nelson regarding the bullpen, so we will have to hear about how the Twins should have paid a couple million out to a bunch of washed up guys that will improve the team a total of .5 wins over the course of the year... BUT, Gray, Maloney, Burton & Co have looked good so far. There was a lot of hate from the BLOG O SPHERE about the pickups. When it comes to the bullpen people react too much for something that matters so little in MLB.

Let's be clear here - Seth is a total Twins fan... BUT... He loves the minor leaguers. Kyle Waldrop was a favorite to make the team? Please dude, you have been raving about his ground ball rate since 2009. The guy is cannon fodder. Can we also get over Luke Hughes playing second base? Yeah, I'm sure he will play there which sucks, with an UZR of -100 but be realistic. The guy has shown nothing (until now hitting 50abs) that makes him a starter. He can't field any postion! It's like saying Eddie Rosario will be our starting second baseman of the future because the Twins are going to try them out there.
