diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Stewart starting today for GCL Twins Not a bad outing. 4 innings, 1ER, 1BB, 5K. 2 more unearned runs, but that's on defense.
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Walters, Ibarra and Tonkin are becoming a pitching juggernaut for the Red Wings. Escobar appears to have his swing back.

Ncgo4 Verified Member Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Buxton is on FIRE! Last 10 games: Hits. - 15 BB's. - 7 runs. - 9 SB's. - 8 Ave. - .385 OBP. - .478 I guess he just might be adjusting to high "A" ball OK.
cmb0252 Provisional Member Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Buxton is a beast. He is as untouchable as they come. He had a chance to make it to the bigs next year at 20.
Ncgo4 Verified Member Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 I was a wee bit doubtful at first following his move to high A. You can put me in the true believer column now. 100 runs, 80 RBI's (minimum) and 50 SB's. Yeah this 19 year old is somewhat serviceable. I hope he is moved to Rochester along with Sano to get some pennant race experience. But I'd be surprised if it happens.
Billy Amick Wichita Wind Surge - AA 1B/3B Despite hitting just .194, the 23-year-old ranks fourth in the Texas League in Home Runs (17) and sixth in RBI (50). Explore Billy Amick News >
