There were definitely some good things and some bad things about Twins Fest at Target Field. Hopefully others will add their thoughts and experiences. But this is a terrific recap... And hey, my dad is a retired pastor too!!!

Very good recap. It sounded like a good time. :-) I heard Gladden try to get Mauer fired up in an interview Fri night (and mostly succeeded, of course).

Even though it seems like they would eventually find a working formula year after year, events like this are ever-evolving and not easy to pull off even when you're familiar doing them. Sounds kind of weird setting up tables in the service tunnels though.

By the way, great Carew story and great choice for rim shot (Buddy Mills SNL)
