IowaHawkeyes Verified Member Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 How good do you think this guy will do this year and what level do you think he will play at. I am a huge fan of his because he is from my hometown.
Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Hermsen had a terrific 2011 season. I think he'll likely spend the entire season in Ft. Myers. If he pitches really well, he could move up to New Britain. It will be interesting to see if the Twins add him to the 40 man roster after the season.
IowaHawkeyes Verified Member Posted March 2, 2012 Author Posted March 2, 2012 I agree I think he does spend the entire season in Fort Myers but I saw him a lot this off season at school.
jtrinaldi Provisional Member Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 He had a hell of a year last year, hopefully he can keep builting up his pitches to turn into a 2 or 3 in the rotation. If he repeats what he did last year I could see him ending up in AA by the season's end.
