Nelson Cruz is on pace to hit over 150 home runs if he gets 500 at bats.

Buxton leading the league in homers, slugging, and OPS. Only second in Batting Average. However, Kepler has twice as many stolen bases as Buck.

I tried out a new doctor closer to my new home. He said I no longer needed to take my stomach medication. It took 1.5 days for him to be proven wrong. He is no longer my doctor.

Surely they will raise their numbers as the year goes along, but currently the 2021 Detroit Tigers are batting a collective .195.

The last time a major league team had a batting average below .200 for an entire season? 1884, when 3 clubs "achieved" the feat in the questionable Union Association.

Good to see them win a 6-5 game. That is the scoring range that has been missing so far this year.

The season by 10s:

5-5
2-8
4-6

So in football parlance, they are 0-2-1. They really need to get a win or two under their belts. Still a lot of season left to right the ship, but this start is putting them in a decent-sized hole.
