Do-hyoung Park penned an absolutely fantastic article on Lewis Thorpe.

Check out the article, but Thorpe appears to have spent his offseason altering a lot of his lifestyle, habits, etc., He's bigger, stronger, more engaged and more.

If so, he's exciting. His fastball was faster in his first spring opportunity to face batters the other day and he's feeling good.

I agree with Seth - That really was a well written article by Mr. Park.

Wow that is a very encouraging article.Makes me wonder if he makes the final 26 as part of the bullpen or if they keep him stretched out in AAA in case of injury. He is about the only left hander we have that has the potential to be a decent starter so I am guessing AAA.I sure hope his gains are for real we are going to need him either this year or next for sure.

Pleasant surprises are not unprecedented, despite the dreary mood cast by the Lewis setback. This could be a very nice one!

I am so rooting for him....he may be the lefty we need, whether its in the rotation or in the bullpen.

I imagine that they'll sit down with Thorpe and show their encouragement and send him down to AAA to keep him sharp and bring him up when needed.
2020 is a year to forget, for the most part.

This could turn out to be much better than spending millions in free agency on a "maybe he can help us" lefty.
