Paddack rocks!

Yeah, I’m a Twins fan and you always think your club has a chance, but if Lewis and Correa are healthy, look out American League. 

Well done chris paddack, everyone sees you on the mound tonight but almost no one saw the months and months of quietly training and fighting to get back on the mound. Hats off to you sir, glad your going to be apart of this pitching staff headed to the post season.

Oak should think about finding a pitcher that can throw strikes

Ober was sent down mostly to limit innings. He wasnt great for a while but the guy doesnt get bombed. Hes usually a consistent 5-6 innings.
In the playoffs first sign of real trouble he gets pulled. Hes a more than adequate 4th option.
And he only pitches game 1 if we need to win in 3 games for WC. Otherwise it goes Ryan and then right back to Lopez and Gray.
Having Ober lined up gives us flexibility with Maeda who is experienced in BP roles and who can come in quickly to spell any of the games in WC or if not needed he can spell Ober quickly in ALDS.

Good game today  , the Twins put the wood to the ball and only struck out 4 times in the game ...
Kepler was 0-9 coming into today's game  and had 2 hits , Jeffers hit as well , nice to see him finally showing he can hit consistently  , polanco the veteran did his part ...
The 3 mentioned players above had something in common  today , they each hit homeruns  ...
ryan gave us 6 good innings and struck out 10 while the bullpen got 6 more strikeouts  for a total of 16  , good game by the staff , would have been nice to see paddack get into the game but rain interupted his chance after he warmed up to come into the game  but the rains came and he was cooled down by the time the rains quit , hopefully against Oakland we can see paddack  get his 2023 season going ...
Would be nice for the team to win the last 6 games against Oakland and rockies  ...

What's even worse is that they got punched in the mouth by NW and, instead of responding positively, they collapsed in a heap and ended in a fetal position. 
Disgusting and embarrassing!

As closer I mean of course. 

It's been a long season and the Twins fans deserved this.

Maybe these last few games try Varland as closer.
