Yes. The more we learn, the more I feel this is a Zimmer issue way more than spileman. Waaaaaaaaaaay.

Just read an article which I assume was based on this interview. Ugh, I wanted Spielman gone years before I wanted Zimmer gone but I’m having second thoughts.
I liked his comments about the difference between “smart” QBs and QBs who process this information quickly. Spielman not only acknowledged his mistakes, but seems to have looked for answers as to why he made them.

If so, another coup for Pitt (I don't love G, but he is probably an average QB, and that staff is great, if not always my favorite).

Those trades seem very very good for the Vikings. I'd do every one without thinking, so I'm thinking they are too good to be true.
The overall strategy is right, though.

Pittsburgh had a 100% vaccination rate this year though. I know it's a popular landing spot for Cousins as it makes a lot of sense as far as his QB play goes, but that doesn't seem like an organization or a coach that would let the big money QB sink the season because he won't get the shot.

This trade was in the linked article:
    Jets send

    -10th overall pick
    -35th overall pick
-Conditional 2023 third round pick (moves to a 2nd with 12+ sacks)

    Vikings send

    -Danielle Hunter
    -2023 fifth round pick
Im a big fan of Hunter but if this is realistic it’s a no brainer for the Vikes to make this trade

And I could be completely wrong but in my mind, the GM is in charge of the draft and the roster while Falvey is in charge of long term organizational issues. He creates the plan, others execute it.

It's a tough question but you really should divide it a bit. I think Levine is far less capable then Falvey. Falvey has attempted to do things, org-wise, that may be pretty helpful. Levine, as GM, has shown a pretty incredible ability to misjudge talent. I've been pretty vocal that this core was going to do pretty well, no matter who was the GM or manager. They just had too much talent. The GM's job in 19-20 was to add to that talent and expand the window. I don't think Levine did that.
Obviously, the big move of adding Cruz was tremendous. The Odo and Maeda trade were good but people are giving a bit too much credit there.

The biggest concern to me is how the owners have manipulated service time. So I think it should be a year shorter now.

He'll be 66 next year. It's ageism but I'm not sure this wasn't his last job. Maybe some sort of senior administrator position where he gives advice to the DC but isn't the DC? He's smart, no question, but the comments from Kendricks, of all players, make me think he's a lot less flexible and probably more petty than I had appreciated these last few years. Levi might have been right, and I hate it when that happens.

I’m that petty where I cancel Kellen Moore’s interview solely for the QB draw play call with 14 seconds left and 0 timeouts. That was mind boggling bad.
Also, weird, both 7 seeds are getting smoked.

Not shocked.  In fact, profited off expecting exactly this.
Mac Jones is not special and this Pats team had a breezy schedule.  Total paper tigers.

Joe Ryan is already in rotation and looks like a real pitcher. we got him for half a season of a 40-year old DH in a lost season, and added Drew Strotman as well, whose floor looks like "bullpen weapon" and still might make it as a starter. Hell, we even saved money on the deal. Even if both pitchers flame out, it was a smart deal...and Ryan sure doesn't look like a guy who is going to flame out.
Buxton put up 4.5 bWAR in 61 games last year. pro-rated to 150 games, that's an 11 bWAR season! That's Wllie freakin' Mays. Of course he's a generational talent. He is a spectacularly talented player who can do things on the field only a handful a players in all of baseball can do. Yes, he's missed a lot of time and one of the most important abilities is availability...but this FO has managed to put together a contract that keeps the most exciting player I've ever seen in a Twins uniform here while protecting the organization if he's not healthy. He's got the same kind of talent that Joe Mauer had before the concussions. You can reasonably talk about him in the same sentence as Mike Trout, who has put up 7 or 8 MVP-caliber seasons in 10 years. he is truly great...and I hope he annihilates the league next year and the twins have to pay him every possible bonus.

While Falvey was "saddled" with Molly, it's worth remembering that he resigned Molly to a three year contract and fired him a year later.
I think your top five is basically right,  but Cruz should be higher.

Note that the Steelers are going to wait until their playoff run is over to start their search, and we're waiting on a GM to start interviewing HC candidates.... there's only so much time to do this. I wouldn't be surprised if they've been grooming someone to take Colbert's place, like how Baltimore had DeCosta ready to take Newsome's place when he retired.
As for GMs, right now they are bringing in Eliot Wolf (NE), Glenn Cook and Kwesi Adofo-Mensah (CLE), and John Spytek (TB) for interviews.
