Great post. Only thing that would have made it better if said perfect game instead of no hitter.

All i can say is 4 years is too much for Ryu and hope he has fun pitching in that division. Balls have a tendency to fly out of all those parks.

I don't feel like the Sox are done yet.

The rule v draft set Javier's prospect ranking. It should be a lot further down on a list. If any one of 29 teams thought he was a top 20 talent he would have been drafted.

Why trade Kepler when he is signed to a fairly team friendly contract if he continues to perform?

darin617 got a reaction from Tomj14 in Moving Eddie Rosario, but Where?
32 Hr's with a juiced ball is really not that impressive to be honest.
Funniest thing I heard earlier this year was Reggie Jackson asked how he would think he would do if he played in this era. He responded I would probably hit 20 hr's, asked why so low he said you know i'm 73 years old. I know i butchered it but i'm sure you get it.

darin617 got a reaction from Platoon in Why the Eddie Rosario hate?
It could be about the growing salary, lack of hustle, lack of plate discipline, and at times wild throws/ not using cutoff man.

Can't trade Eddie when Buxton cannot stay healthy. You can have all the prospects you want doesn't mean they will succeed at the major league level.
It might be better to trade some OF prospects. Just remember all the hype on pitching prospects Stephen Gonsalves & Fernando Romero for starters. If the Twins dealt them before they were promoted they could have cleaned up. Now, they could almost both be DFA candidates.

darin617 got a reaction from Madisonsdad in What Has Arraez Played Himself Into?
One of the greatest OBP for a player that neds up batting 6th or 7th most days. When you figure that out please let me know.
You also don't win games in the playoffs without table setters to get bigger innings going and to get to the pen earlier.

darin617 got a reaction from mikelink45 in MLB Realignment Doesn't Have to Wait
Good luck getting them to drop 12 games. Players would not want to lose money and the owners surely would not want to lose any revenue as well.
I completely agree a shorter season would be a major improvement. They also need to go back to the old baseballs as well. Whatever they changed is not good for the game.

darin617 got a reaction from Otwins in Twins Show Interest in Kimbrell
Just another time where the Twins are being "used" by agents claiming that they may get involved to drive up the price.
I would still need to see more improvement in the rotation and bullpen before I think it would be wise to make a push for a player like Kimbrell.

If it means your players are doing great and getting promoted I hope most of our minor league teams suffer badly this year.
