Each of the Twins affiliates who played on Tuesday were in their home ballparks, and despite the hitting being hard to come by at each level, pitching and timely hitting ended up winning the day for each of them. The Saints went to extra innings, Wichita got a big blast from a returning prospect, and a new top prospect to the Kernels came up big in their win.

Another good week on the farm. Big wins. Hot teams. Playoff races.

The Minnesota Twins farm system was in full swing Sunday afternoon and the St. Paul Saints were the only affiliate to drop their action. Walkoffs and blowouts both happened with plenty of contributors making an impact.

After a night in which Hernan Perez recorded a career best effort, he did something else impressive on Friday. Walker Jenkins debuted on Thursday at Low-A going 0-for-4, but he was the hero with a big game on Friday night.

While there was action all over the Minnesota Twins farm systems tonight, eyes were on Single-A Fort Myers where 2023 first round draft pick Walker Jenkins was making a debut.

Kyle Garlick and Patrick Murphy had great games for the Saints. The Wind Surge got great pitching, and Alex Isola remains on a huge roll. Cedar Rapids saw an unlikely source lead their offense. It was a tough day to score runs throughout the Minnesota Twins farm system on Tuesday, but the top of the lineup in Fort Myers came through multiple times in their win. In triple-A, an undefeated pitcher finally found some bad luck in hot weather, and an 18-year old you may have heard of played his last game in the Florida Complex League.

There is a reason they are called the "short-season" rookie leagues. On Tuesday, the DSL Twins and FCL Twins will be playing their final games of the season. It's just fun to use the word "penultimate" in the title or in the articles as much as possible. 

The minor-league season is winding down. One team is already qualified for the players. Two others are in the driver's seat to earn a berth. Take a look at which teams are hot, which teams are cold and get updates on many players throughout the system.
