The Cedar Rapids Kernels started the Midwest League Championship Series in style, while the St. Paul Saints dominated on the mound. Wichita was up against long odds and was looking for a way to extend their season. Check out the action within.

When the Minnesota Twins embarked upon the 2023 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft, they found themselves in an enviable position. The first draft lottery pushed them up the board. Picking fifth overall instead of 13th, the organization was bound to get a stud in a loaded crop of prospects. It’s gone even better than imagined.

The Saints were not as fortunate, though.

While the St. Paul Saints coughed up an early lead, both the Wind Surge and Kernels found themselves victorious. For Cedar Rapids, that means they'll head to the Midwest League Championship series.

Randy Dobnak set a single-season record for the St. Paul Saints in a loss Thursday afternoon, while Cedar Rapids had runs in more than one way during the evening matchups. Check out all of the action on the farm.

Another day. Another Yunior Severino home run. 

The Fort Myers Mighty Mussels season may be over, but the rest of the Twins full-season affiliates are still in action. That includes the Cedar Rapids Kernels, who began their West Division playoff series against the Peoria Chiefs on Tuesday. A slugger in triple-A also added to his tremendous home run total on the season, while the Wind Surge fans enjoyed some pitching from rehabbing major league players.

The minor league season is quickly approaching the end. One more affiliate is done. But another will start their playoff push this week. The other two teams still have a chance to make the playoffs. Lots of drama yet to come.
